ITSSSS CHRISTMASSSSSS!!!!
This weekend, we put our tree up, so it’s official! Christmas is here!
I have no idea where the past 12 months have gone, and how we’re somehow back here again! Christmas is fun, especially now that Evie is old enough to get excited about everything. The downside of this excitement though, is that she tried to eat a glass Christmas decoration at the weekend, all because it was in the shape of an ice lolly - this was a low point.
And YES, our Christmas tree is BANGING! With glass ice lollies, fake candy canes, polar bears, and allllll the lights………….I do draw the line that the lights can only be warm white though - I’m not a total monster!
This will be Emmi’s first Christmas, Evie’s 3rd, Freddie’s 4th, JPAV’s 18th, and what feels like my 100th - the worry here is that I fear I look like it’s my 100th Christmas too!
November and December are always crazy on the work front, with the guys running around like mad in the buildup trying to get all projects up and running. So a big thanks to them for driving around one mph over the speed limit to get everywhere on time.

Gary, the minute he’s off your driveway!
This Christmas I will try to not eat my bodyweight in Chocolate Orange’s - especially the white chocolate version (my fave) or brussel sprouts (my other fave), and show some kind of self control………..for once. It’s going to be tough, wish me luck. And if when I see you in the new year I have to walk through the front door sideways, and look like I’m wearing a crop top, don’t laugh!
2024 has been a great year, we’ve wrapped up some great projects and are already busy working hard on some huge projects for 2025 (two of which are our biggest to date!). Emmi was born (maybe I should of led with that news) and she is absolutely amazing and is the (joint) best girl in the world, tied with………… Evie who has continued to grow into the (joint) most amazing girl in the world (yes, I’m biased, whatever!). Alix has won mum of the year for the 3rd year running - FACT!
I struggle to see how 2025 will top it, but here’s hoping!
Right, enough of my waffle…………………..until the next newsletter
See you in 2025!
James
PS - patting myself on the back for writing 10 newsletters this year. Go me! Creative Writing is not my strongpoint (as you can all tell), but I’ve tried to push myself a little with it and make them semi fun and informative. Hoping you guys have enjoyed them this year.
As usual:
If you have any thoughts or suggestions, I’d love to hear them. [email protected]
*If there are any spelling mistakes or issues, Gary is your man. [email protected] ;)
If you found this newsletter as enjoyable as I did creating it, why not share the love? Pass it along to your friends and family—we're all about expanding our little community. And don't fret, there are no secret handshakes or membership fees involved. We just want to spread the joy (and frustrations) of AV and tech!
